Launching Cohort 4 of YALA 2.0!

Following the success of the YALA! Program, Cohort 4 of YALA 2.0! began on December 26th, 2021. The goal of this program is to instill democracy and human rights ideals in Rashaya and Hasbaya youth, as well as to provide them with the information and skills necessary to participate in democratic processes and movement development.

On December 26th, 17 people attended an introductory workshop on the role of the change agent, communication skills, and democratic society. Participants also underwent the masculinity training on January 2nd.

The event is aligned with efforts at MUBS to contribute to sustainable development goals set by the United Nations (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequality), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
